Galunggong is a popular fish in the Philippines. One of the most basic dishes that a Filipino family can prepare; it is inexpensive, delicious, nutritious, and simple to prepare. This fish is usually fried and seasoned with salt and black pepper. Serve with rice and a vegetable side dish for a complete meal. It can also be stewed in vinegar.
